Pulling in somewhere we had to render a 21 gun with the 40mm saluting guns. Pulled 25 rds out of the 40mm mag. It was the old 3in .50 mag, 3 decks down. Old man wanted everyone in whites regardless.Took a boot up with me and told him if I ejected a round and told him to throw over, he better throw it. Of course I had a misfire. I ejected it and told him to throw it...He stood there with it in his hand....Profanity followed. Whites were ruined.
