Punjab police illegal crackdown rulers afraid of sit-ins heading towards further deterioration, Ch Shujat Hussain, Parvez Elahi Cries of flood effected people would drown them, after handing over Punjab to flood and dacoits they were using police to crush opponents What was the objective of arrests of peaceful workers and torture after forcibly entering houses? talk with media Lahore: 13-09-2014: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have strongly condemned Punjab Police crackdown against leaders and workers of political parties participating in peaceful sit-ins in Islamabad and other cities and describing it unconstitutional and illegal have said that the rulers afraid of peaceful sit-ins were heading towards further deterioration through such acts. Talking to media here today, the two leaders demanded immediate and unconditional release of all those arrested and said that what was the objective of on one hand negotiations were being held and on the other hand unjustified arrests and torture after forcibly entering into the houses, rulers product of rigging wanted to silence every voice raised for truth and justice, Punjab had been handed over to flood and dacoits. Continuing they said further that instead of using thousands of policemen of the province for rescuing and providing relief to the flood-hit people and against the criminals, the force was being used for oppression, violence and torture on political workers in Islamabad and other cities, after massacre in Model Town Lahore and bloodshed and giving blood bath to hundreds of persons in Islamabad their false ego had not been satisfied yet, they wanted to crush their every opponent through govt force, after sending Punjab and Islamabad police officers who followed the Constitution and law to their homes after they regretted to obey illegal orders they were using their pet officers but unjustified and illegal arrests, false cases and unconstitutional actions could not block the way of the truth, the rulers should be afraid of such time when the entire country would rise in protest against their oppression and suppression and there would be no escape for them because the power could not be saved like this, their days had been numbered, they would be drown by the cries of the lakhs of flood-hit people who had been uprooted and drowned by the flood sent by their friend Modi and they had done nothing to save them, they had no sympathy for the flood-hit people because they themselves were responsible for drowning them. #
