Puppets take over Changsha subway Travelers on the subway in #Changsha, Hunan Province, found themselves pleasantly surprised during their journey on Monday. Entertaining them on the trains was a unique group of passengers – giant #puppets! In an attempt to promote China’s #cultural #heritage, the Hunan provincial Puppet and Shadow Art Protection and Inheritance Center had organized a special puppet show on the trains. According to a report by Chinanews, the puppets depicted characters from the famous Chinese #folktale ‘Malan Flower’ – a tale of sibling rivalry, greed, magic and the rewards of hard work.
