Purging our house yesterday, we were taking some stuff to the side of the road. A couple stopped to see what kinds of goodies there were and asked if we had any more baby items that we wanted to get rid of. Turns out the lady was on her way to pick up her 3 month old grandson from the NICU, where he had been since the day he was born, 3 weeks early. She had found out the day before that she would be raising him, which was a welcome, but unexpected, burden that she was not prepared for. What she didnt know is that I had literally just put an ad on craigslist, looking for a family in need to give these items. She went home with 2 swings, a stroller, a crib and matress, a bouncer, a walker, a car seat, a pile of blankets and a big smile that she did not have before. Talk about a warm and fuzzy feeling! So glad to pass a blessing on!
