Purpose of ‘The East & West United’ Group Purpose: The main purpose of the East and West United is for people from Eastern, Western and Countries all Over the World to Come together with the common goal of spreading Truth about the world we live in today. Primary focus is that we recognise western imperialism and propaganda as a great threat to Both Eastern Countries who are often the victims of military action of Western Governments and the people in Western countries being the victim of Propaganda via their mainstream media outlets. Objective 1: We would encourage our members to share information from Alternative News Sources and those news sources with some credibility in Eastern countries to show the world what western governments are actually doing! Objective 2: Whenever you post a story for example about Syria use the hash tag #istandwithsyria or Russia #istandwithrussia even if your story is only about one country it’s always a good idea to include several istandwith hash tags. Do this both in the group, on your own Facebook wall, and on any other social media you use such as twitter. Objective 3: To educate people using video, video projects individuals make and the group makes. Such as the current one #istandwithrussia where people are making videos about why they stand with Russia. Ask Sean to be put into the video group so you can either work on this video project or others in the future. Objective 4: To Create REAL PHYSICAL GROUPS in our own cities and Towns Uniting the East and West against Propaganda and to show support for various issues. Example 1: To Show support for the Palestine’s who are being massacred in Gaza. Example 2: To Show support for Syria and their sovereignty as they are under attack. Example 3: To show support for Russia against Western Propaganda.
