PurrEver lost a friend yesterday. The world lost one of the kindest, gentlest souls to ever walk this earth. Heaven gained an angel named John Fry. A producer of rock stars - John Fry made music at Memphis famed Ardent Studios. But to The Kittizens, John was a cat lover. He helped us when our cupboards were bare. Always quietly never asking for recognition. I remember when I first found out that he & his wife Betty were animal rescuers & told him that I was PurrEver. His eyes lit up & he smiled & said, Thats you? I like that! I really like PurrEver. He told me about the seniors he & Betty had rescued & I knew then & there, there was no bigger rock star. John Fry made all kinds of famous musical magic but to those of us in Rescue that were fortunate to call him friend, we thought of him as one of us. An Animal Rescuer. This man was everything good. Our hearts are broken but we know he is home & at peace. John was also a man of Christ (with a sense of humor) & I share the picture to honor the man that help keep our doors open.
