Pushing and Pulling By pushing we pull in pulling we extend towards the unwanted away from what we intend Say what you mean or so it is said but do we mean what weve said? or quite the opposite instead We move our pawn to draw the knight in the drama we are the queen as the king sleeps untouched through night Onward soldiers Christian, Muslim, Jew all the while advancing in retreat when did the I become the you? Shall we blame both Kane and Able? for the crooked meal set upon our table or dare we see the myth in the story too late for those who died and killed for king, god and glory And so man continues his falsehood ways pushing and pulling unto these days towards the unwanted I see no end as man marches headlong away from what we say we intend Michael e Moore 25 September 2015
