Put an ice cube in a drink and for while it remain unchanged then - TopicsExpress

Put an ice cube in a drink and for while it remain unchanged then it will abruptly melt. Add 1C to -1.5C and you have ice, add another 1C and you have water. All the estimates of ice melting assume a linear rate of melting over time. A completely unrealistic assumption as when the ice rises above 0C you will have water and the phase change is abrupt. It is abrupt in a drink, the laboratory and in the enviroment. Denialists all should go out and buy a bucket of sand so they can bury their heads in it in order to maintain the status quo. Stupid people who believe the real world is subject to their opinions and acts accordingly. Tide and time wait for no man.
