Put the government on notice. The people are as mad as hell and were not going to take it anymore! #bustthebudget This government has attacked the young, the old, the poor, the sick, First Nations people, the refugees, the workers. Everyone except those who actually should pay- the wealthy, the mining corporations, the banks, the huge corporations that this government will sign contracts with to privatise public services. Hockey has even left a nice loophole for the wealthy- they can salary package to avoid paying the deficit levy. #capitalismsucks Its time for all the unions to get on board with grassroots activists and the broader community to mobilise general strikes to bring this government to their knees. Dont wait for the ALP and Palmer to save you- they serve the same interests. After all, it was the ALP that initiated the cuts which have thrust single parents and their children further into poverty. It was the ALP that sent asylum seekers to Manus Is. and Nauru. We dont want fighter jets and drones. We dont want more toll roads, nor mining that devastates our environment. We need universal healthcare, free education, and a welfare net for those most vulnerable in our society. We must offer reparation to First Nations people to address the terrible effects of dispossession and stolen wages. There is enough to share when it is shared equitably.
