Put together another YouTube of a home video I took of UPs 56 local headed east out of Pacific, Missouri, to Kirkwood Jct. for the run down to Crestwood on the now-abandoned Carondelet Branch on April 13, 1998. A GREAT Union Pacific crew is on board the local this day, including Conductor Scott Bruce Bradley and Roger Freese. Book orders were heavy at the now-shuttered Von Hoffman Crestwood plant and the crew has about an hour of switching to do to pull the empties and re-spot the loads. Coincidentally, at the same time I was taking this video, a tornado dropped out of a storm cell in the Westport area and did some major damage to Carol House Furniture!
