Putin and Lavrov have again been caught in lies about their blatant invasion of the Ukraine. I have personal experience with this, when Lavrov, then Russian Ambassador to the US, flat-out lied to me about Russia having issued 90,000 passports to Georgian citizens of Russian descent in order to rationalize an invitation to invade (and since then, continue to occupy) the Georgian sovereign nation. In the Ukraine, Putin and Lavrov for weeks have denied any Russian troop involvement, incursions or participation in Ukraine. But now that multiple Russian paratroopers have been caught and videos distributed, the lie has shifted to the troops crossing into Ukraine by mistake. Once a liar, always a liar. The worst lie is that Russia still denies giving military help to the separatist rebellion in eastern Ukraine, as multiple crossings by tanks, armored vehicles and military supply vehicles have been filmed, and not by the Ukranian government, but also by everyday people on cell phones, intelligence satellites, independent and free-lance journalists, and so on.
