Putting the finishing touches on my talk for tomorrow morning at The Unity Center in San Diego, called Choiceless Awareness. Its a term first coined by Krishnamurti back in the 1930s and picked up by the other uber-guru of the twentieth century Sri Ramana Maharshi. Its what Jesus means when he teaches us to not be anxious and not to judge. Its what Buddha means when he teaches us to practice non-attachment. Its what Krishna means when he teaches us to work without attachment to the fruits of work. Its what Gandhi means when he teaches us to renounce and enjoy. We think we are free, but we see and understand everything through a thick fog of our own preconceived notions, prejudices, and self-serving judgments. These days they call it confirmation bias. But its not new. Come explore it with me tomorrow morning, and see if we cant find a way through the fog together. Both services -- 9:00 and 11:00.
