Putts for Pups is an event to support OPHs work in rescuing dogs who have medical issues. We look forward to your support for the event! Heres one of our medical dogs now ~ Meet Haro, a happy and playful Retriever mix pup whos ready to steal your hearts! This pretty 1-2 year-old is a well-trained girl who knows how to fetch, sit and shake! She has a very sweet temperament with people and dogs alike, and greets everyone with a warm smile! She loves attention and if you rub her head she will be your best friend for life. Sadly, we discovered that Haro has a hip issue. When Haro runs, she runs like a bunny… and her hips don’t function properly. When she tries to sit, you can tell she is in pain. After visiting with one of our vet partners, we learned that Haro needed to have double hip surgery. When OPH commits to a dog, we commit fully. We have always believed that when a dog is a part of the OPH family, they are with us forever – that is what family means! So we are beginning the long journey with Haro of getting her treated. Haro’s surgery cost OPH over $2,500. To help this beautiful girl, we need your help and support ~ Putts for Putts will help to raise funds for our medial dogs who deserve a chance at their forever home.
