Q - I belong to a church where our bishops reject me, my partner and our friends. When will they accept us? We always feel discriminated against, if not demonized. A - Why stay in a community where you are discriminated against, rejected and demonized? No human being, no matter what the title, has an exclusive franchise to God or to heaven. NO HUMAN being holds for other humans the key to heavens door. Jesus opened that door and has kept it open for those who would believe and call on God. You do not really need the acceptance of bishops; why beg for their embrace? You need only the acceptance of God through Jesus. And that is generously available ---apart from the Religious Establishment. Bring your case directly before God. Bypass snooty, bigoted and Dark-Ages bishops. Develop a personal relationship with God without passing through religious brokers, agents and handlers.
