Q: A good athlete, with very limited funds, wants to become a mountain biker in VA, what new bike do you recommend? The athlete is interested in exploring the incredible national forest trails that define Virginia mountain biking. I saw a piece in the MBA buyers guide called something like the entry fee for mountain biking, and Im interested in your thoughts, specifically for mountain biking in VA, and across all brands that riders have access to in VA. Ideally reply with the new price, the make and model, and any narrative you wish to add.
