Q) Clarissa, do you have a cheat day, or meal? A) YES! But let me explain what I do, and how it works for me. I dont have a cheat day, I have my DEVOUR HOUR! =) Every Sunday from 12-1, it is my time to just enjoy what I want. NOTHING is off limits and Ill go for what sounds good, and GUILT free. The reason I set a time limit, is because we can get crazy with a cheat meal and feel like a glutton of food punishment if we make that meal last forever. Some people go off the deep end (binge fest) on free days and its not the right mindset at all. Having a DEVOUR HOUR is simply, keeping me in check, psychologically and it actually can have some great benefits if you have been training hard and keeping your intake low. So, I call it a treat meal, and its on Sundays. After that, I clean it up and get back on track. Once you start eating healthy, you actually crave getting back to that lifestyle.
