Q. How would you minimise pores and bumpy skin naturally? So, when applying make up on, the skin looks flawless. A. Well my favourite for minimizing pores, is an egg mask. With a few tweaks it can be an all round wonder mask with just three ingredients. Try this for getting rid of bumps & bumps. Put some boiling water in a heat proof bowl and steam your face, make sure you have a towel over your head and take regular breaks. This opens up the pores, which is specifically good for if you have bumps or whiteheads. Then get the white of one egg and squeeze as much juice out of a tomato as you can and put them both in a small bowl and lightly mix, for best results add around 3 - 5 drops of lime juice. You can use either a cotton tip or a cotton ball whichever you prefer to apply it. Leave it on for a minimum of 15 minutes. I recommend doing this once, maybe twice a week. To really finish the skin off and give it a smooth touch I’ll let you in on a little beauty secret that I’ve probably mentioned before. Baking soda (not powder) is the pre-makeup trick many makeup artists, including Napoleon Perdis himself, swear by. It’s soothing and PH neutralising and has had great reviews for acne prone skin. Just put about a teaspoon or more in the palm of your hand and add approximate amounts of water until it’s a paste and apply to the face. Try not to scrub it, I tend to very very gently move the soda over my skin in upward motions. I find if I leave it on as a mask it irritates my skin, but it works well as a mask for tolerant skin.
