Q: I have worked for my employer for coming up 5 years and Im 15 weeks pregnant. Before we found out I was pregnant I was looking for other work and then decided to stop when we found out we were expecting as I would like to take the maternity leave cover my current job offers..My problem is my job is extremely stressful and i work long hours and I would like to leave for another job but not sure if Id be entitled to any government payments as I wouldnt of been employed for more than 9months when baby arrives. Dose anyone know what options I have or am I best to stay where I am and just hang in there? Any advice would be great, thank you!
