Q: Where else in the Bible is the metaphor used of inanimate - TopicsExpress

Q: Where else in the Bible is the metaphor used of inanimate objects crying out used? A: Genesis 4:10, in which God says that Abels blood cries out to him from the ground. In Habbakuk 2:11, the builder who has unjustly treated the poor has the stones of the walls of his habitation cry out, because the builders success was derived by unjust means. And, James 5:4, in which the wages the owners unjustly refused to pay their workers also cry out in alarm. So, when we consider the meaning of Luke 19:40, its not a happy image, and not a triumphalist image. Its an image associated with crime: murder and the exploitation of others. Im not buggin ya, am I? I dont mean to bug ya.
