Q: Why does Plus USA have an age and marital status qualification?? A: Like thousands of other organizations and businesses, we have a specific demographic that we desire to impact. It is statistically proven that unmarried women between the ages of 14 and 30 are in their most growing and evolving stage in life and it’s our desire to provide opportunities and equip them with skills and confidence that they can use as they get older and of course in their future marriage if thats something they desire! Our titleholders have a demanding appearance schedule which can also conflict with the needs of husbands or those who are more settled in their life or wiser in years. We also are partnered with the WE Care Foundation so that we may provide academic based-scholarships to our participants, and this demographic is when many are preparing for continuing their education. There are several other pageant systems for plus size women that exist who cater to the wiser and married woman and we encourage you to seek them out, because wives and women above 30 deserve to shine too!
