QIUZ TIME !!!!! I remember the Curve Inn, But not like this. Jake Spence moved to Louisiana from Mississippi in the 1920s. He worked for Southern Railroad. He openned and operated a service station and café on Carey St. Later he built a two story building on the corner of Front St. and Ponchartrain Dr. better known as The Curve Inn.He sold the business to Nick Sansone who operated it for nearly 50 years until it burned down in 1987. NOW I HAVE TWO QUESTIONS FOR ALL OF YOU . The first one is easy. The Curve Inn was famous for what type of Roast Beef PoBoy ? Shortly after selling the Curve Inn Mr. Spence built another building on Ponchartrain Dr. then sold it and it became anot5her Slidell landmark. Do you know what it was ??? I will post a picture of it in abit. ( Courtesy of Slidell Museum and my friend Bonnie Vanney )
