QUALITATIVE EDUCATION Education is the bedrock of any nation; therefore our Government will take adequate responsibility in the area of Education. Professional Educationist will mount the sector and improve on where the present Government stops. We shall make education compulsory, and FREE, for all our children up to secondary school level. In this way, we shall develop a pool of people that will contribute to the human capital of the state and thus, enhance the growth of human capital available to the state, we shall strengthen the inspectorate service of our Education Ministry for quality assurance in our schools and ensure that the money spent by Government is achieving our aims for which the funds were voted. Bursary award to deserving students will be made available, and where necessary scholarship awards will be given to brilliant students to help them achieve their educational objectives. Our teachers will be adequately qualified, and mini um standards will be set for each category of teaching staff to ensure that only the best teachers are entrusted with this vital service. Vocational training will be encouraged to ensure that every child is given opportunity to achieve his/her potential.
