QUESTION 10: Jesus came to earth and lived a perfect life, following the 10 commandments that were given by God. Because he did this and died on the cross, he gave us the gift of Grace. Jesus taught us that God forgives our sins and loves us any way we are because we believe in Him. Grace through faith alone brings us to God, not good works. Open your bible to Ephesians 2:4-7 and read those verses. Highlight those verses. Write “I am SAVED by the Grace of God, not good works.” in the margin. What thoughts come to mind when you hear that Jesus earned our place in heaven for us when he died on the cross, we can’t earn it by being good or doing good? Is that hard to believe?
