QUESTION: Do you think a workshop teacher should dress up a little extra nice, and do her hair & makeup before teaching a 4-hour workshop? The reason for asking this question is that I once heard a workshop classmate murmuring that the teacher was a mess because she hadnt put on makeup or done her hair, and her class attire was not particularly stylish. (The teacher was clean and well-groomed, hair was in a plain, unornamented bun, and her clothes were in good condition, not wrinkled or torn or anything.) I was surprised to hear the comment because I thought the teacher looked clean and professional, but apparently my classmate thought she should have fixed herself up a little. So, do YOU think workshop teachers should fix themselves up for teaching?
