QUESTION: Has anyone ever had a sick cat that went missing? My 15-year-old cat JoJo was (sadly) on her way out, and walked off from our yard last week and just disappeared. Havent seen her since. Weve looked and asked around, no luck. She usually stays close and never strays. I was hoping shed pass quietly with us in the house so at least we could bury her near her favorite tree, and I cant help but imagine the worst scenario. Racoons, cars, weirdos mauling her... Feeling terrible. Is it true that when cats are nearing their end, they go off somewhere quietly to die? If thats so, at least it gives me a measure of peace...
