QUESTION POSTED --- COMMENTS WELCOME!!! My daughter is the queen of a local rodeo. The girls are expected to make an appearance in the local fair parade to help promote one of the biggest sponsors for our rodeo (NOT a clothing sponsor). She is being told that her attire for the parade is to be jean shorts and boots, a t-shirt, sash, cowboy hat and crown. My daughter is finding this very upsetting because she believes she should be in a full rodeo queen attire when representing this position even though it is only a small rodeo title. She still believes that dignity and class should take priority when wearing the crown. I am at a loss as to what to tell her to wear -- she wants to wear black jeans, boots, her breast cancer awareness long sleeve button shirt, and a black hat and crown. I find this completely acceptable but thought I would ask for your opinion and guidance over it.
