QUITA’S JOURNEY I envision the sky opening it doors Gold and silver….. covered the floors I could hear a loud rumble As the trumpets BEGAN to play A band of “angels” Formed along the way Oh,…… My God, What a glorious day I can see Marlene standing at “Heaven’s Gate” She said “ My baby….. Quita” For you…. I await And only as a mother can Marlene’s arm extended her hand You see Quita This is not the end Mother and daughter Together….. again God said, “No more my child, no more shall you roam We need you here today, Heaven…..is your new HOME This is where you are meant to be With me…. my child, throughout “Eternity” Family and friends, I know you wish Quita had stayed But Quita was called home….. this glorious day And she wants… you to know This is her Beginning….. she had to go Quita knows You were there to catch her When she fell You were there to hear secrets, To Only you,,,,,,,, She would tell Always remember this is not Quita’s end And by and by, you will see her again As her and Marlene...walked that last mile I can see Quita With that great.... big.... smile Beverly Bell 08/01/2014
