Quaker Springs FD is thinking of Sanborn (Niagara County) Fire Department for the loss of a Brother in the Line of Duty! RIP Volunteer Firefighter Donald Pete Martin (a 53 year member of the department). After arriving at the station for mandatory department training, Firefighter Martin fell ill. Other firefighters subsequently took Firefighter Martin to his residence where 911 was called after he became unresponsive. Firefighter Martin passed away from a nature and cause of injury still to be determined. Our condolences to all affected. RIP. (SK)
