Quality Assurance Technician Albertville, AL $8.25 to $8.25 Regular, Full-time evenings No Educational Requirement Ensure all product produced adheres to specifications by performing checks and calibrations based in policies and procedures. •Perform product evaluations and calibrations •Inspect products to ensure it meets specifications using scales, calipers and thermometers •Ensure all personnel adhere to company GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP and adheres to the established Food Defense Program •Document any product deficiencies throughout the shift •Place product on-hold if it does not meet specifications •Must be able to follow directions •Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers •Do all tasks assigned by supervisor or member of management •Must be available to work weekends as required TECHNICAL SKILLS •Must be able to speak and write English •Basic math skills •Ability to read product specs SAFETY SKILLS •Follow Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to safety requirements •Must wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) •PPE required but subject to change: Hairnet, smock, earplugs, gloves, handguards, safety glasses, (beardnets if applicable) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: •Ability to work in a wet and cold environment (45ºF, 4ºC) •Ability to work in environment 85ºF and above •Ability to stand for an 8 hour shift •Will be exposed to noise (85 decibels), CO2, and moving production •Lift up to 40 lbs. to include moving, lifting, pushing product •Climb up and down ladders •Stoop and reach overhead (bending & twisting) Albertville Quality Foods This employer wants to be contacted as follows: 1.By email to [email protected].
