Quality Control - Produce Warehouse (Donna, Texas) compensation: $11.00 - $14.00 per hr. Immediate Opening for a year round Quality Control with USDA background and produce experience preferred. Must have experience with tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, blueberries, etc. Responsible for assessing, reporting and controlling the quality of all fruits / vegetables inventory received and shipped from packing facility. Conduct regular assessments of all products in the warehouse and during repack. Ensure that all inbound /outbound shipments are inspected and that company quality standards and customer specifications are maintained. Monitor the age of inventory and report quality concerns to sales and warehouse management. Track and report on the product rejection rate monthly. Select product to be dumped. Complete dump sheet for approval by the warehouse manager.
