#Queensland #Weather #SeverWarning #QLD #CTCorp 4:10pm Update:~~SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING - SOUTHEAST QUEENSLAND Issued at 4:10 pm Monday, 8 December 2014. Severe thunderstorm activity has eased in southeast Queensland, however thunderstorm activity is still occurring and a broader State Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains current for the area. The situation will continue to be monitored and more detailed warnings will be issued if required. Roof damage reported in Gayndah and reports of trees blown down in the Lockyer Valley. The next warning is due to be issued by 5:05 pm. A more general severe thunderstorm warning is also current for the Central Highlands and Coalfields, Wide Bay and Burnett, Darling Downs and Granite Belt, Southeast Coast and parts of the Central West, Capricornia and Maranoa and Warrego districts. Warnings are also available through TV and Radio broadcasts, the Bureaus website at bom.gov.au or call 1300 659 219. The Bureau and Queensland Fire and Emergency Services would appreciate warnings being broadcast regularly.
