We value our nurses and midwives, and they will receive another 2.2% wage increase from 1st April, which means an overall increase of 12% since the LNP government took office in 2012. We have also fixed Labors botched health payroll disaster, which saw many nurses, midwives and other health staff being paid incorrectly or not at all. Wage increases for nurses and midwives are part of our strong plan for Queenslands health system.
