Queen’s College pupils have been busy embroidering slogans on banners to help raise awareness for the Love Fashion Hate Sweatshop” campaign designed to highlight the shortcomings of the fashion industry and to ensure workers’ rights are respected. The embroidery will be combined with work from 28 other Methodist schools, turned into enormous collages and taken to the Prime Minister at Number 10 along with a petition demanding higher pay and better conditions for workers in the overseas garment manufacturing industry.
