Quentin Kopp presents an excellent case against the toxic turf slated for GG Park Soccer fields and elsewhere. His criticism of Prop I should have been listened to. He feels it was a real undermining of democracy and the ability of citizens to effect their community. Prop I was put on the ballot by 5 supervisors. Kopp said here that he doesnt even know if I is legal. Prop H was the result of community groups who gathered tens of thousands of signatures to get on the ballot. Interestingly, several of these same supervisors who touted Prop E as a health issue - ignored the science related to the toxicity of artificial turf.
