Queso update! Looks like she is done, had a total of 8 pups but sadly 2 were dead, obviously having been killed by the car impact last week. One of the living 6 was born in a sack full of blood and meconium and I worked on him awhile and got him going. He had lot of bloody fluid in his lungs and is at risk of pneumonia in the coming days, but right now doing well. Queso did very well, birth got easier as she went along and she is a great mom. She doesnt have much milk yet but they all got some. There are 2 black pups; a girl and a boy, and 4 light ones; a gold girl just like mom and 3 cream colored; 2 girls and the boy I had to help a lot. Pics soon....
