Normal contractor will price the sow based on the qty provided w/o measuring the drawing, They may put an allocation for risk in the sow, maybe price it through the prelim or price the rate of material higher. What if the allocation allowed 4 risk by contractor is lower than the quantity reduced by the qs from the actual qty. Assuming the contractor financially strong, so they already complete the project, This situation is not fair to contractor, n not profesional by the qs, But, is there any way for the contractor to claim their loss, contractually?
