Question From A Caregiver: May I vent? I am the only one of three children who still live near my parents, both 88 years old. My mom has dementia and my dad cares for her. I help them with whatever they need. I have some new concerns about my dads ability to continue caring - solely - for my mom (he wont accept outside help). I will be writing a letter to his doctor before his next appointment. I wrote to my siblings asking if they wanted to see the letter before I sent it. Both agreed that they didnt need to see it (I am a nurse and they trust me.). Heres the kicker......neither sibling asked what my new concerns were. That hurts me and upsets me. Any suggestions? ~ Jan
