There are three official website resources that may inform you of the process: CIC’s main web site at cic.gc.ca; the Consulate General of Canada’s website at HongKong.gc.ca; and if you choose to submit your application at the Visa Application Centre (VAC), their website at vfsglobal.ca/Canada/HongKong/english/index.html. The best place to start preparing is by reviewing CIC’s a study permit page: cic.gc.ca/english/study/study.asp. Once you have gathered the required documentation, you must choose whether to submit your application online at cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/getting-started.asp or at the Visa Application Centre. See vfsglobal.ca/Canada/HongKong/english/index.html for the VAC office’s location and hours, as well as additional support services and fees. If you decide to apply at the Visa Application Centre, you may prepare your application beforehand by downloading the application package at cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/student.asp.
