Question Im asking myself: Am I to reflect the love of Jesus or simply be its conduit? A reflection is an imitation of the real thing. It dwells on the surface and like a shadow only effects so much ... But a conduit... It is designed to carry the real thing. It is not concerned with appearances, as its sole purpose is to stay wide open (in this instance, to receive Gods love and allow it to pass through). A conduit can only pass on as much of a substance is it has been given... Learn how to be a good receiver, and youll naturally become a good giver. / reread this and realize its a bit ooey- gooey but the heart of what I am saying is do I always want to be consumed with trying to do the right thing (works and appearances) or would I rather rest and allow Jesus love to work through me. One option brings stress and pressure, the other brings joy and peace.
