Question: Why is the brand Polo and/or Ralph Lauren so important to the black community?? Do we have horses and polo tournaments in North St. Louis City or Detroit, Chi-Raq, Bodymore?? Please advise. Did Ralph Lauren march with the Black Panthers or MLK? Please advise. Because if not, we need to lower the value we place on the brand. True, they have very nice clothes, but we need to keep dollars within the community AS much as possible. And this includes not over paying for basic goods/service/items.
