Question by /?: Hi what should i get my 13 year old boy for his birthday? His birthday is coming up in a few weeks the price range is 100-300 since i worked a little overtime at work and got bonus. Please no jokes or bad answers lik 13 year old girl or A girls p***** its very rude he doesnt have much stuff and take in considerate hes a boy and 13 not 5 so dont say action figures. He has a xbox 360 he bought with money from mowing lawns so could you list 5-10 items he would like and if its a game what game he also found a psp so maybe a psp game i have no idea what games thank you! also he has a music player and games he has is madden basketball game call of duty ii think annd batman id its video gmes and books please name what the names of books i should look into and i dont want hand him a gift card or cash and say here happy birthday i did that to my oldest boy and he hated it. Anyways ask him if he will wait because Halo Reach for the Xbox 360 is coming out and if you dont know halo is like the biggest Xbox 360 only game series. Besides Call of duty 4 Modern warfare 2 and modern warfare. Im not sure if COD(Call of duty) or halo is bigger but there is also Splinter Cell Conviction and if he likes games where you take people out by stealth and stuff like that it would be a good game. There is also Battlefield Bad Company 2 (BFBC2). Some people hate it some people like it, it just depends on his personality. But i heard no complaints on the BFBC2 single player. Ive heard its kinda like a movie but your in it. Also the environment is all destructable. You can but c4 on a wall and blow the wall off of the building or collapse buildings with rocket launchers which you cant do in COD. I have a PSP and i found out if there is a game for the PSP that is for the Xbox 360 also the the 360 game because usually the PSP version is shorter, has worse graphics, and the entire game is just worse because its smaller and dosnt have the graphics or memory capacity of the 360. I havent picked up my PSP for like 8 months now. So a 360 game would be good. Hold on a second does he have XBOX LIVE? if he dosnt then he would be missing out. So you could get him a couple years of Xbox LIVE for his birthday. I think its 50 dollars for one year. You could get him an iPod touch. Im not sure what he has because all you said was an mp3 player. The ipod touch plays movies, games and apps. Im not sure how up to date you are but here is the apple site with it apple/ipodtouch/ its 200 dollars i think. Also im not sure if he has this game but Batman Arkham Asylum is amazing. i have it and loved it. I heard Batman Arkham Asylum 2 is coming out and i will get that without hesitation over any new COD game because i think the new one might be worse because of the Infinity Ward firings. Also for books you should be more specific but i will say the books i like. There is the Rangers Apprentice series. its sordta like medieval times and theres these people called rangers who work for the king and have figured out the camo clothes. Also the Pendragon series is a must. It is probably the second best series i have read. You might think this is nerdy or not but Harry Potter is awesome. When my mom forced me to read it i felt really stupid but then i really liked it. This is probably the nerdiest part but ive read the series i think 4 times. It dosnt get old for me. There is also Eragon. There is a movie of it and its crap compared to the book so DO NOT judge by the movie Its also sorta medieval but theres magic and dragons and a psyco king. Eragon finds a dragon egg and has to take down the king. The first book is good but it gets worse and worse as the series goes on. There is also the Alex Rider series. It is about a kid whos father and uncle was a spy but he didnt know it and his father died so his uncle took care of him then his uncle died so the British spy agency thing (like james bond MI6) makes him a spy. Its really action packed and has those mysteries like in detective movies. There is an Alex Rider movie so again if youve seen it DO NOT judge the book by the movie. The movie is crap just like almost every other movie based off of a book. Except for Holes. That is the only movie that is better than the book. I would say Alex Rider is better than Eragon exept for possibly the First book. Those are a little of all the good books i have read. I hoped i helped. Give your answer to this question below!
