Question for all: Im currently undergoing powerlifting/nutrition coaching with Bryce Lewis. Hes got me running an periodization/auto regulation strength building program that is pretty dang challenging. Ive noticed the program has helped me build a little bit of strength, but mostly size. Strength gains are mostly noticeable in my Deadlift, size gains are noticeable everywhere. Anyone have thoughts on this? Ive been training with him for 6 weeks, prior to that was about 12 weeks of Stronglifts 5x5(which sucked) and prior to that was about 2.5 years of bodybuilding bullshit. Im curious when the strength gains are going to appear... Does size always come first?
