Question for my conservative (and open-minded) friends: So I - TopicsExpress

Question for my conservative (and open-minded) friends: So I try to listen to really intelligent, insightful voices from all sides of the political spectrum: liberal, conservative, libertarian--I even added a socialist publication that looks interesting. Im having a hard time finding conservative news/commentary outlets that really draw from the best that movement has to offer. I had to drop National Review from my feed today after they posted an EXTREMELY racist photo, the last in a long line of abuses and usurpations that convinced me they dont really live up to the William F. Buckley legacy anymore. Ive looked at the The Weekly Standard a bit, and its...OK. Im not sure its much better than NR, but Ill keep looking. First Things is QUITE good, but mainly only religious and social issues, not as much on the economic issues that I really want to understand better.) Where else do you go for the really thoughtful stuff? I know it must be out there. (First person to say Glenn Beck gets a thump on the forehead.)
