#Question for my friends who are also readers. I posted this story on my author page. It deals mainly with authors earnings on e-books, but it raises an interesting point about readers. The writer mentions that authors are releasing much smaller stories and producing more sequels and series. He also mentions an author who took his book which was $3.99 and broke it into 7 volumes and will now make about $1.40 off each volume, through Amazons KDP Unlimited. My question is, as a reader do you feel you are being taken advantage of by the games being played by Amazon and authors who are trying to stay one-step ahead?
