Question for the public??? Ok, been feeding 3 momma deer with total of 4 babies in my new yard now for a while. Been watchiin the babies since they were 2 ta 3 days old almost EVERY day for 3 months. Today when they showed up, I started up to the mailbox and they hopped off in front of me. Just then, A blue dodge dakota, Arkansas license plate # 525 DBD came over the hill, fired one shot and sped off. Then I VERY angrily went for a flashlight, weapon and phone. Walked/ran back up to look for evidence/deer when the same truck came back by real slow And kept going but witnessed me looking and getting his tag #. This Completely stupid person then turned the blue dodge dakota around so as to shine his headlights toward the direction he had shot , obviously to try and see the deer he had just shot with a high powered rifle. I luckily hadnt found a deer at this point and stopped him and explained to him that He would have to STOP shooting at deer toward my property and in the dark AND out of season. The boy said sir I dont have a gun in here and that I could look. Out of anger, I called him an expletive liar and read his license plate # to him. Then just as he drives off, I see one of the twin fawns flailing about, with a bullet hole just behind the head and trying to get up but couldnt. If Ilda seen the deer previous to the confrontation it wouldnt have turned out the same. Faulkner county deputy came out and AGFC made contact and with a FRESH EYEWITNESS, Says an Arrest IS eminent with a positive ID From myself. He told me he lived here in my neighborhood. Should I have figured out his residence and given him a good grown man scolding or let our law enforcement and agfc arrest the sucker???
