Question from Elizabeth: How do you teach your baby to be quiet? I have an almost 10-month old boy who loves different noises, whether hes making them or someone else is. Hell bash toys together, pound his open hands on tables, highchair tray, etc. Lately hes been yelling a LOT, sometimes shrieking (which can be very painful to listen to lol), and I dont know what to do! It can be a happy yell or a complaining one, but theyre both VERY loud and hes starting to drive me crazy. Shhhing him and whispering used to make him be a little quieter but lately it hasnt been helping. Hes my first baby and I dont have much experience with babies, is this normal? What can I do? And his hearing is fine btw... :) Thanks!
