Question from a SKG Grandma: My granddaughter is 11.5 and over the last 6 months or so shes really grown up! However, she hadnt yet grasped the notion of deodorant. Weve had many talks..bought many brands..scents…Ive reminded..as with brushing teeth, and brushing hair but she doesnt get it. Ive been subtle. Ive been lovingly outright about the bad smell that happens when we dont care for ourselves. Ive advised her that usually people around her wont tell her that she didnt smell nice..and we dont want to put people in that position anyway. Nothing is working. Do you have any suggestions as to how to make her understand the importance of deodorant and hygiene? Sometimes it stinks being a tween..ugh!
