Question from one of our readers: Im a RDH and have been working in my office for almost 5 years. Im looking for a new office to work at. My current job lacks professionalism, structure (no consequences for anything done wrong), my doctor wants power hygiene (I refuse to even though Im forced to at some times), and its all about produce, produce, produce. There are times I feel Im forced to throw my ethics out the door to see as many patients I can. My focus is patient quality and care, not how many I can see in a day. Seems like the question always comes up why do you want to leave your current job? during an interview. Whats a professional response as to why you want to leave without bad mouthing my current office? Please leave your feedback/suggestions below.
