Question time. EF fairmont, Just had motor overhaul plus AU head, manual converstion, Passenger side air bad dash (air bag not connected atm) and first few drives where great.. Everything was smooth and excellent, except for one time when i took it on the freeway and gave it a gutfull till about 120ish and then just started to cruise i then noticed my trip comp went stupid.. i have tried a few trip comps to see if it was my comp that died to find out it wasnt. As you can see below. My question is, wtf?? How and what can cause this?? I rest the Tickford comp i had in it by discon the bat, no go, i have changed the comp toma police one i had, no go, my next thought was BCM. But before instart pulling the dash out ( i need to replace vac hoses to heater) again, injust want to know if this has happened to anyone else and if so, what was the cause? ?
