Question: what are your top albums of the year that arent from this year? We had a really great discussion at Niffer & Marks house on nys about how often the most important records are discoveries (or re-discoveries) from the past, and I think thats true both personally and culturally. Remember when everybody suddenly thought that Fleetwood Mac (or Springsteen or Roxy Music) was great all at the same time? I know, you always liked them, but them coming back I think had a huge influence on the music that followed, as much or more than what peoples contemporaries were doing. So thats why Im curious.
